Fall Retreat was loved among students, but it had its challenges. There was consistent feedback that students wished it was longer and because of the season, many students couldn't attend due to sports and other seasonal commitments.
This year it was decided to shift the experience from a weekend to a week and be held during summer, and with that came the opportunity to rebrand. The name Fall Retreat would no longer do and we eventually landed on calling it what it is, Camp. Hosting Camp in the summer now allows for any students who play fall sports to attend with fewer chances of scheduling conflicts. With this new group of students we wanted to reach in mind and how integrated games and sports are into the culture of Camp, we wanted to explore athletics being represented in this year's branding. Inspired by retro sports graphics, we aimed to see what those styles would look like if produced today with modern inspiration.
